The main aim of Classical Philology is to define the philosophical movement that existed at the time of the birth of Christ. The work of philosophers like Aristotle, Plato, and so many others have been integrated into what is classical philology.
The birth of Christ is said to have marked the end of the age of magic and the dark ages. This is how the story of the philosophers began. The work done by them was said to have shed a light on the historical Jesus and His teachings. But what is classical is that as time went by different groups of these philosophers evolved. History says that during the period of the Second Temple Period, the Jews had a great temple in Jerusalem, which was destroyed by the Romans in 70 A.D. People like Avicenna, Suidas, and Aristotle were included. Later on more philosophers like Origen, Ptolemy, and Augustine were added.

This brought a period of confusion. One day a scholar named Isaac Newton came up with an idea of apple and pea soup. The Italian playwright Shakespeare developed the play “Hamlet”, which is set in the 14th century. The play focuses on the theme of revenge and caused many critics to question the chronology of the play.
